Volunteers Needed for Events to Benefit City Greenways

Highland Brewing Company celebrates its 20th anniversary with the inaugural Highland Night Flight on Saturday, July 12, at 8:00 pm. This four-mile race will be centered at the brewery in East Asheville and includes a loop that has never been raced on before. Afterward, celebrate with friends at Highland with food, music and delicious fresh beer at the post-race party. The event is being produced in partnership with the City of Asheville and the Asheville Parks and Greenways Foundation, with all proceeds going to the development of greenways in our community. Volunteers: The Asheville Parks and Greenways Foundation will be providing volunteers for this event to man two water stations and 26 posts along the race route to keep runners on track. Interested??  Email: info@parksgreenways.org with your name, contact address, email address, and your age.
