APEX Brain Centers– Dr. Michael Trayford, Board Certified Chiropractic Neurologist and Founder of APEX Brain Centers in South Asheville, has been asked to present his research as part of a keynote symposium on the opening day of the World Conference on Movement and Cognition in Tel Aviv, Israel on July 22. 2019. This unique conference is a collaborative effort between many universities and organizations across the globe; including Harvard, MIT, Oxford, La Sorbonne, Tel-Aviv University, and more. It attracts researchers, clinicians and therapists with a keen interest in the impact of movement on our brain and higher human functions.
The Parkinson’s Foundation recently awarded the YMCA of Western North Carolina’s a $15,000 community grant to support the association’s ongoing health, wellness, and educational programs that address needs in the PD community. Programs at the Y focus on improving movement and building community.
