Can you give us some background on The Budd Group?
The Budd Group started over 50 years ago in Winston Salem and has grown under the mission “To do what you say you’re going to do”. We look to understand each customer’s facility needs and create tailor made solutions to keep their facility in tip top shape, including, janitorial, maintenance and landscaping needs. We care about our employees like family, we create a team environment and we look to serve our customers with the best people with the highest values.
Where did the vision begin? How has it grown?
The vision for The Budd Group started under Richard Budd and has grown from serving Winston Salem, to all of North Carolina to now serving 6 states. And the mission to “Do what you say you’re going to do” flows from management to those working in each facility to ensure our customers buildings exceed their expectations every time. Now with Covid, this means even more to our customers. We want to help them keep their employees and customers safe, and their doors open. We have sought out the best products to disinfect and protect our customer’s buildings, provide detailed training to our employees and respond quickly to our customers when a case happens.
What brought The Budd Group to the Asheville area?
Our desire to serve anyone who needs a clean, safe and protected building. Now more than ever creating a safe workplace is paramount.
