RiverLink is proud to announce the newest partnership in the Adopt-A-Stream program. Recover Brand’s mission is to produce the most eco-friendly clothing possible and raise awareness about environmental sustainability. They have committed to six cleanups throughout 2013 along the French Broad River to make it a place to live, work and play.
The first RecoverLINK cleanup will be Saturday, Jan. 26 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. This collaboration will bring together members of the community with the help of local businesses to remove and recycle waste from a riverside location in a fun and educational way. we will celebrate after the clean up with food and libations and a make your own t-shirts for participants.
Teams will work on many of the roads in the River Arts District, especially the areas along the French Broad River, from the Biltmore area near Amboy Road and along Riverside Drive. After the cleanup, join RiverLink and Recover Brands for free food, drink and t-shirts.
