In preparation for launching the organization’s Asheville operations in the first quarter of 2012, Linamar’s local recruitment team will be accepting applications for the following positions including: machinist, machine operator, maintenance technician and manufacturing/quality technician. The firm began local recruitment of various functional management positions shortly after their June 30 announcement to acquire the former Volvo Construction Equipment facility in Skyland with an investment of $125 million and creation of 400 new jobs. The company plans several additional recruitment events in coming months, including participation in the Annual Homecoming Job Fair at the Biltmore Square Mall on Thursday, December 29.
