Asheville, NC – In conjunction with the Economic Development Coalition for Asheville-Buncombe County, Linamar Corporation will host a management job fair on July 5 and 6. The event will be held in the Haynes Building on the A-B Tech Enka Campus at 1459 Sand Hill Road in Candler. The event is scheduled from 12pm until 8pm on Tuesday, July 5, and from 9am until 5pm on Wednesday, July 6.

In preparation for launching the organization’s Asheville operations in the first quarter of 2012, Linamar’s local recruitment efforts will begin with management and professional positions for all functional departments, including plant management, accounting, engineering, maintenance, logistics and procurement, health and safety, as well as information technology. The company plans to schedule a recruitment event dedicated to production and hourly staff in coming months.

Additional events are planned throughout the year to assist Linamar in meeting its aggressive staffing and production goals for the new Asheville operations,” stated Clark Duncan, Director of Business and Industry Services at the Chamber’s Economic Development Coalition.
