Tell us about your business and the role you play in it.
I am Venue Director for Pinnacle Live at The Omni Grove Park Inn.
Established in 2021 led by a team of industry veterans, Pinnacle Live is a premium in-house AV partner. With a focus on hotels, we work with hospitality partners and meeting planners to shape and support unforgettable live event experiences.
We set out to do things differently, and our distinction begins with our model. We operate exclusively with an autonomous venue model—which means our staff are fully dedicated to a specific property and the movement of equipment is kept to a minimum. Our strategy enables our directors and teams to focus on the unique needs of a single customer. Our size and structure allow us to work efficiently, pivot quickly, and customize our solutions to ensure our customers receive an elevated experience, every time.

What experiences do you strive to create for your customers?
Pinnacle Live believes in the power and necessity of focus. It’s why we prioritize hotels and operate with an autonomous venue model. Our strategy enables our directors to focus on the unique needs of a single customer. And it ensures that our technicians are able to deeply understand and support the venue, the meeting planners, and the needs of every partner. Whether it’s a meeting for five or a program for hundreds, our approach endures. Hoteliers deserve a partner that doesn’t settle for “good enough.” An expert right-hand who knows your venue as deeply as you do.
What’s been your company’s most innovative idea?
Pinnacle Live aims to lead the industry in sustainability. We’re committed to reducing power consumption, emissions, and waste, enterprise wide. Each choice matters in our pledge to a healthy, vibrant planet, and sustainable events industry. We invest exclusively in the most modern and efficient technologies like laser projection, rechargeable batteries, long lasting LED lighting and Hybrid/Virtual ready audio and video equipment. We thoughtfully curate and dedicate our equipment to each property reducing the need to transport equipment in and out. It isn’t enough to provide sustainable options because our partners and customers expect it. We do it for ourselves and our long-term commitment to the positive and sustainable future of our industry. Every choice matters.
Through your experiences, what have you learned about customer service?
Even as a young man I was taught treat people the way you would like to be treated. This is so true especially in our industry. If we value our team, they will value our clients, and this respect becomes contagious.
What makes your business unique in its field?
Our humanity is our superpower-it’s what allows us to empower others to do great things. We put people first in our communications, no matter what. The technology we supply, the creativity that we help cultivate, and the challenges at hand wouldn’t be brought to life or solved without our friendliness and groundedness. We speak like we’re talking to a comrade, using contractions and conversational colloquialisms.
During your first year of business, what was the greatest lesson you learned?
Our executive team embodies transparent leadership with a perpetual flow of ideas and an emphasis on actionable feedback from the field. Our team members voices are heard, guiding our strategy and shaping their future.
