Park Ridge Health has named Scott N. Miller, MBA, MS, PT, as its new Chief Operating Officer. Miller brings more than 20 years of experience in clinical and administrative leadership to this role at Park Ridge Health. As COO, Miller will direct a variety of departments that provide direct care to patients. He will also provide administrative leadership to Park Ridge Health departments that impact care beyond our patients to include family, friends and neighbors in our communities.
“Park Ridge Health has been blessed to have more members of our growing communities turning to us for high quality, compassionate care,” said Jimm Bunch, Park Ridge Health President and CEO. “Scott will be a vital addition to the exemplary leadership team as Park Ridge Health moves forward with a goal to provide wholistic care to every person in our community.”
“I love working with teams to advance our faith-based mission of ‘Extending the healing ministry of Christ.’ I look forward to joining the Park Ridge Health leadership team and working to ensure our organization is positioned for success now and in the future,” said Miller. “I know every success we have at Park Ridge Health will come as a result of teamwork, dedication to mission and God’s provision.”
Miller began his career of caring for people as a Physical Therapist in 1994. He was quickly brought into leadership roles that led to innovations in care facilities and opportunities for patients. He most recently coordinated delivery of care through more than 250 Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation associates across four hospital campuses in the Centura Health System located in Denver, Colorado.
When he is not helping his teams achieve success, Miller spends his time with his wife and two children. They are active in their church and support a number of mission initiatives. Scott and his family love making memories through sports and outdoor activities including mountain biking, hiking, camping, skiing and running. He says, “As a family, we love to travel and explore, so we look forward to discovering all that Western North Carolina has to offer.”
