Park Ridge Health names new director of operations for physician services

Park Ridge Health is excited to announce it has named Jennifer Sorensen, MBA, LPN to be the new Park Ridge Health Administrative Director of Operations for Physician Services. Sorensen has served as a Director of Physician Services at Park Ridge Health since 2015. She is a Health Care Operations Leader with an extensive background in administration, management, financial oversight, and quality assurance. She is personally committed to excellent customer care and service delivery across all practice areas.
Sorensen earned her Bachelor of Business Administration (2011) and Master of Business Administration (2014) degree from St. Gregory’s University in Shawnee Oklahoma. In addition to this, Sorensen is licensed as a certified practical nurse. As an active member of United Way and Habitat for Humanity, Sorensen uses her certifications to relieve needs across the globe. In 2018, she will be assisting Park Ridge Health’s Dr. Hite on mission projects that seek to spread Christ’s healing and encourage others to understand the vital role they can play in ensuring better health care.
Sorensen served as Interim Director of Specialty Services at the Saint Francis Health System prior to joining Park Ridge Health as Director of Physician Services. She successfully led implementations of Electronic Health Record systems and related Mobile Health initiatives at both health systems, as well as, improved the financial performance and patient satisfaction scores for the physician offices under her oversight.

Sorensen enjoys staying active, traveling, exploring the local cuisines of Asheville, and growing her collection of shoes. She is very grateful for the meaningful friendships that have blossomed since she moved to Arden two and half years ago and is eager to see what the future holds.
