Pardee Hospital Foundation will host the 22nd Annual Tournament of Champions golf tournament on Monday, May 8 at Kenmure Country Club. The entry fee is $300 per player; sponsorships are also available. Participants can enjoy 18 holes of golf in either the morning or afternoon, followed by an awards ceremony and dinner in the evening. Players compete for Top Team, Closest-to-the-Pin, Hole-in-One, Longest Drive and Last Place Team awards.
The goal for this year’s tournament is to raise at least $85,000 to help Pardee UNC Health Care enhance and expand its MUSE Cardiological Data Management System. This technology will enable physicians and staff to better treat patients with a more efficient and seamless process. With the recent focus on advances in its cardiovascular program, Pardee has positioned itself once again as a leader in the health care community.
“We invite you and your friends to join us for 18 holes of golf at our 22nd Annual Tournament of Champions,” said Kimerly Hinkelman, executive director of Pardee Hospital Foundation. “We hope you’ll join us for friendly competition on one of the area’s finest golf courses while giving back to your community hospital.”
Since 1996, the Tournament of Champions has raised more than $2 million to benefit Pardee services, equipment and patient care. For more information about the tournament, visit http://pardeehospitalfoundation.org/events/tournament-of-champions/ or call 828-233-2700.
