How did you come up with your idea or concept for your business? How did you decide on a name?
I’ve always had an interest in aesthetic medicine, and after a business venture with a partner, I decided to go out on my own with a new idea and concept. I wanted to offer traditional medical spa services and couple it with wellness services, including fitness and nutritional support, to help people feel better from the inside, as well as the outside. The idea of newness and regrowth, turning a chapter into a new one in your life, led us to the idea of a new leaf.
What makes your business unique in its field?

We want our clients to look and feel their best, and offering wellness services, such as IV hydration, medical weight loss, fitness, and nutritional support, allows us to complete that mission.
How many employees do you have? And what qualities do you look for when hiring?
We want someone with experience who brings the right energy and compassion to our studio, which we have worked hard to cultivate.
During your first year of business, what was the greatest lesson you learned?
Rely on your experts when you need help.

The next year promises to be very exciting at New Leaf as we offer new services and expand our reach into new neighborhoods and clients in Asheville, spreading the wellness word to WNC. In the next five years, we hope to have an established presence in the community and have a reputation for compassion and whole-person care.
Why did you decide to join the Chamber?
To learn more about the business community in WNC, network, and grow my business.
What is your favorite part about doing business in the Asheville area?
Asheville is such a great place that focuses a great deal of attention of the visitors to the city, and we have really enjoyed getting to know the residents and members of the community to make WNC a better place to live and work.
