Tell us about your business and the role you play in it.
I am the founder and owner of Julieta Fumberg Multidisciplinary Visual Artist. I am an artist and I create imagery following my client’s specifications. As a multidisciplinary artist, I provide clients with high quality photography as well as graphic and web design. And, I create contemporary art.
I am a solopreneur, but with the graphic and web design aspect of my business, I collaborate with other creatives to provide clients a full range of services.
How did you get your idea or concept for the business? How did you decide on a name?
The idea came to me from wanting to do what I love, art, and be of service using my talents. And of course, what else to name my business than my name! Although it was not always this name, it always had the same essence.
What makes your business unique in its field?
My business is unique mainly because of me and my style of artwork. I offer great customer service and attention to my clients’ needs. I love doing business in a very human way, with all the professionalism that my clients deserve.
I bring creativity into all of my work whether that’s photography, graphic design or contemporary art. I really like doing a variety of things. I’m always responding to the needs of the market and my clients.
I love working with people who value and lean on the expertise I can provide for them. That’s when projects really flow and it becomes a symbiotic relationship. Many of my clients are small to medium sized businesses that align with my values.
During your first year of business, what was the greatest lesson you learned?
Have contracts in place, be comfortable talking about your value, and teach clients about the process so they understand the value.
Where do you see your business in the next year? The next five?
I see my business in the next year thriving. I have a lot of plans to take my career to the next level. In five years, I see my business in a place of prestige. I see myself really expanding into the range of my capabilities.
Why did you decide to join the Chamber?
I decided to join the Chamber because it’s a great place to connect with the community. And I am so glad I did! I love being part of the business community.
What is your favorite part about doing business in the Asheville area?
I love the close community and diversity of businesses I can help.
What else would you like to share about your business?
I am here to help, and make this community a better place to be! 🙂
I actually have three websites! I found that was the best way to showcase the different aspects of my work.
