Vice-President of Institutional Planning and Effectiveness
Daoist Traditions College of Chinese Medical Arts is seeking a Vice President of Institutional Planning and Effectiveness (VP-IPE). The VP-IPE will assist in development of an institutional effectiveness plan for our existing program and strategy for expanding to an accredited doctorate program.
The VP-IPE will provide techniques and framework for meaningful and sustainable academic assessment in compliance with accreditation requirements and standards. Included in the implementation of an institutional effectiveness plan will be training program faculty and staff, as well as developing analysis of assessment results.
The VP-IPE will report to the President. This position will begin at 20 hours per week, growing in hours as the accreditation process progresses. A doctorate in education is required, as well as extensive accreditation or assessment experience. Experience/education in assessment at the college level is required.
Daoist Traditions College of Chinese Medical Arts is licensed to confer a Masters of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine degree by the UNC Board of Governors. The program is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (ACAOM). The Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine program at Daoist Traditions is a four-year track program, including a two-year internship. Students at Daoist Traditions are eligible for Title IV funds.
