Homeward Bound of WNC and Cúrate are proud to announce a very special fundraising event focusing on ending veteran homelessness. To combat the rising tide of veteran homelessness in Buncombe County, Homeward Bound has launched a new initiative to provide permanent, safe housing to homeless veterans. The Housing First model has helped hundreds of veterans transform their lives and end the cycle of addiction, despair, and homelessness.
Chef Katie Button, Food & Wine Magazine’s “Best New Chef 2015”, and Cúrate’s Wine Director, Felix Meana, have developed a multi-course dinner with carefully selected wines from top Spanish wine regions. Tickets are $125 per person inclusive of food, wine, tax and gratuity. Proceeds of this benefit will go to Homeward Bound efforts to end homelessness for veterans in our community.
Seating at the event will be communal and courses will be served family style. Each course will move seamlessly to the next with a chosen wine for each course to create an exceptional dining experience. Wines will be available for purchase at special pricing after the dinner.
Special thanks to Petit Hameau Wine Imports and Tryon Distributing who have generously donated the wines for this dinner.
