Asheville, North Carolina-based High Cotton, Inc. announces a licensing agreement with the authors of Man V. Liver, a book release from Andrews McMeel. The humorous cartoons will grace a line of High Cotton Inc.’s doormats, neoprene party coasters, wooden signs and bar towels.
Inspired by witty barbs spoken in drinking establishments everywhere, Man V. Liver’s humorous designs, co-created by artist Paul Friedrich and writer Neil Hinson, celebrate a carefree lifestyle with modern simplicity and a sharp tongue. Their hero, Man, is a post-work charmer and pack leader of the watering hole; an inspiring archetype to anyone who finds time for Happy Hour.
Creators Paul Friedrich and Neil Hinson are professional creative types. The Eisner-nominated Friedrich has made a name for himself as a leader of the Lowbrow painting art movement, and for his multiple Onion Head Monster books. Hinson is an award-winning writer in advertising and journalism. This is their first collaboration.
High Cotton, Inc. is proud to manufacture 98% of their products in the USA. High Cotton sells to thousands of retail stores across the US and Canada, mail order catalogs, and through their web site www.highcotton.com. They sell a variety of humorous products including doormats, neoprene coasters, personalized prints, signs, as well as imprinted apparel. Bonnie Snyder, High Cotton’s CEO states “I couldn’t be happier to be working with Neil and Paul from Man V. Liver. Their humor is a perfect fit with our products.
