Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina announced the opening of its newest retail store in the town of Laurel Park, near Hendersonville. The store will open on May 21 at 1731 Brevard Road, the former site of Fran’s Fashions.
The Hendersonville store will offer shoppers the same great bargains they have come to know at all Goodwill stores, but will have different hours of operation. The new store will be open Monday–Saturday, 9 am – 7 pm and Sunday, 1 – 6 pm.
On opening day, there will be refreshments, promotional giveaways and a ribbon cutting with Town of Laurel Park officials, Chamber representatives and Goodwill executive team members in attendance.
Although the new store will not open to shoppers until May 21, they are accepting donations now. Donations of any kind are always needed and appreciated: clothing, electronics, home goods, furniture, jewelry, books, computer equipment and shoes are in high demand.
