November 25, 2014

Illuminate the joys of the holiday season with Four Seasons Compassion for Life’s community celebrations, the 24th annual ‘Tree of Lights,’ Friday, Dec. 5, 5:30 p.m., and 2nd annual ‘Songs for the Seasons,’ Saturday, Dec. 6, immediately following the Henderson County Christmas Parade.

24th Annual Tree of Lights

Thousands of lights and hundreds of luminaries will set the landscape aglow with remembrance during the 24th annual ‘Tree of Lights.’ “Warm remembrance of the lives of those we love and have lost lends a special glow to the celebrations of the holiday season,” says Dot Moyer, immediate past-chairman of the Four Seasons board of directors. Lights and personalized luminaries may be purchased in advance at www.treeoflights.com, or at the event on Four Seasons’ campus, 571 South Allen Road. Shuttle services will be from Blue Ridge College.

Songs for the Seasons Debut

The remembrance continues with the invitation to lift your voice in the joy of song during ‘Songs for the Seasons,’ a holiday sing-along also hosted by Four Seasons.  In its second year, the non-denominational event will be on the steps of the historic Henderson County Courthouse, Main Street, Hendersonville, Saturday, Dec. 6, immediately following the Henderson County Christmas Parade.

The ‘Songs for the Seasons’ event extends the joy of the annual ‘Tree of Lights’  celebration to the wider community, says Moyer.  “These are inspiring celebrations of light, hope and peace,” she says
