Tell us about your business and the role you play in it.
I’m Dr. Liz and I want you to have your best smile.
At Everyday Orthodontics, we believe in providing stellar, affordable care that’s tailored to each unique person we have the privilege of helping — whether that’s you, your littlest family member, your grandparent, or someone you love with special needs.
We believe in finding the best possible fit for you and your treatment, even if that means going to someone else. We believe in smiling so much your face hurts, and that unicorns are totally real. We believe in building a practice that champions honesty and integrity, and puts patients first, every day.
How did you come up with your idea or concept for your business? How did you decide on a name?
Since the beginning of my dental journey, I have tried to redefine the orthodontic scene by following an authentic and humanistic approach to care. Going to the dentist can be a fun and informal setting where amazing relationships are built, and creativity can flourish. It can be a place where you feel welcomed, relaxed, and truly love to visit. It can be a place where you can just be you.
What makes your business unique in its field?
I’m an orthodontist with an unwavering passion for what I do and there is nothing more rewarding than seeing someone feel healthy, confident, and beautiful. I feel that to be a good orthodontist, it starts by being a good human first. It means honesty, integrity, and genuine interactions. It means involving my patients in their treatment every step of the way and listening to them carefully. It means giving back every day.
I often hear people say I don’t look like your typical orthodontist. I rock my blue hair and tattoos, I have background in art and ceramics, and I probably wear too many black t-shirts. But I am also fellowship trained in complex cranio-facial orthodontics, I worked on a renowned cleft palate team, I have taught other dentists and orthodontists for many years and have had the absolute joy of seeing each and every smiling face on all of my patients. If I’m not a typical orthodontist, then I embrace it with open arms.
With my previous training and experience, I am able to offer a vast array of services including braces, aligners, adult orthodontics, special needs care, complex case treatment, jaw surgery, TMJ treatment, and sleep apnea treatment.
