Dr. Benjamin D. Weinberg joins Pardee’s Comprehensive Cancer Center

Pardee Hospital announced today that radiation oncologist Benjamin D. Weinberg, M.D., has joined the Comprehensive Cancer Center at Pardee Radiation Oncology department effective Tuesday, July 5. He will provide radiation therapy for patients undergoing cancer treatment.

Dr. Weinberg earned his medical degree from the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. He then completed an internship in general surgery at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore and completed his residency training in radiation oncology at Wayne State University in Detroit, where he was chief resident.

He holds a master’s degree in physics from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and a bachelor’s degree in physics from the University of North Carolina at Asheville, and is a graduate of Asheville City Schools. His research has been published in several medical journals and publications.
