Asheville Regional Airport has opened a new Cell Phone Lot and expanded the current Shuttle Lot. The new cell phone lot is located across the street from the main entrance to the terminal, on Airport Park Rd. The lot will give those picking up passengers a complimentary place to park and wait. Use of the Cell Phone Lot is complimentary and helps keep traffic moving in front of the terminal, where curbside waiting is prohibited. The current Shuttle Lot has also been expanded, adding approximately 70 more public parking spaces. The airport shuttle operates continuously, to and from the front curb of the terminal, and is a good option for many travelers, especially those who may not be able to carry luggage from farther distances if parked in other lots.
