Jim Oliver, the founder of AvL Technologies, will be inducted into the Space & Satellite Professionals International (SSPI) Hall of Fame on March 23. Along with three other honorees, Oliver will join the leaders who created, sustained and expanded the industry over the past 60 years. The staff at AvL appreciates Oliver’s personal, professional and entrepreneurial achievements, values the incredible amount of knowledge he brings to the company and they are immensely grateful that the Space & Satellite industry is recognizing him with this special and well-deserved honor.

On Saturday, March 20 at 7 p.m., the Wortham Center for the Performing Arts presents magician Joshua Lozoff in “Virtually Impossible,” a made-for-livestream online event. In this interactive, fully magical live show, Lozoff will be able to read the minds of audience members through the Zoom stream, from miles away.
