The Buncombe County Property Assessor’s Office wants to remind residents the listing period for 2021 begins Monday, Jan. 4, 2021 and the property tax listings must be completed and returned by Feb. 1, 2021, by 5 p.m. to avoid a 10 percent late-listing penalty.The Buncombe County Assessor’s Office is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. The office is located at 155 Hilliard Ave., Asheville. All persons who own personal property such as untagged motor vehicles, permanent multi-tagged trailers, manufactured homes, boats and boat motors, airplanes, rental personal property, or farm machinery used for income purposes, etc.
Business owners: All businesses are required to file a business personal property listing form annually during the listing period stated above, which includes: machinery and equipment; furniture and fixtures; computers; improvements to leased property; manufactured homes; aircraft; IRP plated vehicles; and supplies etc. used in connection with the business.

A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s Kenan-Flagler Business School, Isley began her career in tourism in the mid-1990s at the Durham Convention & Visitors Bureau as the director of marketing and communications. After nearly two decades that included senior executive positions at Tampa Bay Convention & Visitors Bureau and Destination DC in Washington, D.C., Isley was selected as chief operating officer at Destination Marketing Association International, representing 600 official destination marketing organizations worldwide, commanding $2.5 billion in annual budgets. She also assumed the role of executive director for the organization’s foundation.Most recently Isley served as chief sales and marketing officer for Bermuda Tourism Authority for more than six years, where she was responsible for setting strategic direction, creating and managing the $25 million annual budget, and overseeing the New York City office with a staff of 19 and all global marketing, sales, crisis communications, media relations, social media and promotions.
AdventHealth Hendersonville is thrilled to welcome Chris Taulbee to the role of Director of Physician Services. In this role, Taulbee will oversee team members, providers, and protocols at several AdventHealth Medical Group locations across Western North Carolina, including Primary and Specialty Care practices in Asheville, Hendersonville, Flat Rock, and Tryon. Although new to the role, Taulbee is not new to our organization. He has served with AdventHealth Hendersonville for nearly 10 years, starting as a radiologic technologist in 2011 and taking on the role of Diagnostic Imaging Manager in 2017. In his most recent position, Taulbee was responsible for daily operations at AdventHealth Hendersonville Imaging in both the hospital and outpatient clinics.
