Brew Start workshop Sept. 18-19

September 10, 2014

The Craft Beverage Institute is holding its first Brew Start workshop on Sept. 18-19 here in Asheville. It is a super opportunity for anyone interested in starting a craft beverage operation to gain important information from top-tier professionals on business plan development, legal issues, the financial picture and marketing.

Sponsored by the Craft Beverage Institute, Asheville Brewers Alliance and Asheville Center for Professional Studies, Brew Start features savvy Asheville professionals who work in and with the brewing industry, as well as a tour of Asheville breweries and distilleries and appetizer networking at Wicked Weed. This is a rare opportunity to receive both business and brewing industry professional assistance valued at over $2,500 for only $295 from the vibrant craft beverage community here in Beer City. The Craft Beverage Institute of the Southeast at Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College is designed to support the rapidly growing craft beverage industry in Western North Carolina and the Southeast. The Institute provides curriculum and non-credit courses in brewing, distilling, fermentation and related business practices to prepare individuals for positions in brewery and distillery operations and management, distribution, sales and marketing, and customer service or to be self-employed and open their own craft production facility.
