Asheville Outlets and Schroader’s Honda will team up to host the 2016 Ride for Kids Bike Show & Run on June 18th. The ride begins at Schroader’s Honda in Hendersonville and ends at Asheville Outlets, where the Poker Run bikes and additional motorcycles will then be on display for spectators. There will also be music, door prizes and awards for best in show – plus an opportunity to win a new custom 2016 Honda Goldwing ® Motorcycle.
Registration is $10 per motorcycle. Riders do not have to participate in the Poker Run to be a part of the show. Spectators can view the show for free. All proceeds benefit the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation’s ongoing work to eliminate the challenges of childhood brain tumors by funding medical research and family support. Brain tumors are the leading cause of cancer death in children.
Ride for Kids was established in 1984 and is the longest-running motorcycle charity event in the country. In 1991, the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation was created by the founders of Ride for Kids and is now the leading nonprofit supporting childhood brain tumor research.
