Beer Camp comes to Mills River – Aug. 3rd

Sierra Nevada Brewing Co.’s Beer Camp Across America, an unprecedented multi-weekend traveling beer festival taking place in seven cities across the country, comes to Mills River, NC in a little over three weeks! Here’s what you need to know about the final leg of the largest craft beer celebration in history.

DETAILS

More than 210 craft beers from 107 breweries from Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee will be served at the event. Each brewery is bringing up to two beers apiece (for a complete list of participants, visit http://beercamp.sierranevada.com/festival/southeast_edition). In addition, the dozen beers from the one-time only Beer Camp Across America variety pack will be served. Sierra Nevada founder Ken Grossman and his son Brian will be at the festival available for interviews.

Patrons can purchase food from 15 area food carts, including 3 Sun’s Bistro, Avery’s Dogs, Doc Brown’s BBQ, Dogs, El Kimchi, Farm to Fender, Little Bee Thai, Pho Ya Belly, Root Down, Smash Box, The Hop, The Mobile Marlay, Tin can pizzeria , Underground Baking and Yellow Submarine Sandwich Co. The provocative Oregon-based MarchFourth Marching Band will play a live set from 3 to 4:30 p.m.; the group is a blend of burlesque, vaudeville, horn-driven funk and marching band madness.

Tickets for all seven Beer Camp Across America festivals are on sale at www.SierraNevada.com/BeerCamp. General admission is $65, which includes a commemorative tasting glass and unlimited tastings where possible.

Beer Camp Across America is an unprecedented multi-weekend traveling beer festival taking place in seven cities across the country this summer. Sierra Nevada invited every craft brewery in the country (all 2,800 of them) to attend and pour their beer at one of seven stops on the tour; more than 700 signed up. With over 1,300 craft beers on tap from nearly every state in the union, Beer Camp Across America promises to be the largest craft beer celebration in history!
