Vizient, headquartered in Dallas TX, places contracts for a wide range of products and services for its member health systems throughout the U.S. With its acquisition of MedAssets, another large GPO, in 2016, Vizient now has total contracted spend among its more than 4000 member hospitals of more than $105 billion annually. On the U.S. News and World Report magazine list of top hospitals in America, the top 14 hospitals, and the top 11 children’s hospitals, are all Vizient members.
