The Van Winkle Law Firm announced today that attorney Koral Alman has joined the firm’s trusts and estates team as an associate in the Hendersonville office. Alman will focus her practice on trust and estate planning, as well as estate administration.
Prior to joining Van Winkle, Alman practiced in Los Angeles at a boutique law firm specializing in commercial, antitrust and unfair competition litigation. She is licensed to practice in North Carolina and California.
Alman is a member of the North Carolina State Bar, the 28th Judicial District Bar, the North Carolina Bar Association, the North Carolina Association of Women Attorneys, Rotary Club of Asheville South and the California State Bar. She is admitted to the U.S. District Court, Central District of California, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Originally from Florida, Alman attended the University of Florida and received her law degree from Washington & Lee University School of Law in Lexington, Va. While earning her law degree, Koral served as executive editor for the Journal of Civil Rights and Social Justice, and was selected as a Burks Scholar, an adjunct instructor for first-year legal research and writing. She and her husband live in Asheville.
