McGuire, Wood & Bissette attorney Annika M. Brock has been named to the North Carolina Bar Association Real Property Section Council for a three-year term. The Real Property Section assists in formulating the North Carolina Bar Association’s legislative agenda, which is presented to the North Carolina General Assembly, and is active in the area of consumer protection.
The Real Property Section, which currently has over two thousand members, oversees the copyrighted real estate forms and a five-volume forms book relating to real property law; sponsors Continuing Legal Education (CLE) programs and services; and produces a substantive newsletter for its membership. Its newsletter “Real Property,” contains an index of its articles and CLE topics.
Annika Brock provides legal services in residential and commercial real estate closings, contract negotiations, leases, title issues and foreclosures. Her legal experience is in commercial and residential real estate, civil litigation, estate planning, business law, special proceedings and insurance litigation.
