Almost, Maine Runs February 3-19, 2017: In the mythical town of Almost, Maine, residents find themselves falling in and out of love in unexpected and often hilarious ways. Produced and directed by Reeni Lindblom Dowd, Almost, Maine is presented in 35below. The show runs February 3-19, 2017 with performances Friday and Saturday nights at 7:30 pm and Sunday afternoons at 2:30 pm. Auditions for Bus Stop: The Autumn Players will hold auditions for Bus Stop on February 7, 2017 from 10:30 am-2:30 pm in 35below. Bus Stop will be performed as reader’s theatre. Auditions are open to all in the community, no previous experience required. All audition material is provided at the auditions. Directed by RoseLynn Katz.
Storytelling series Listen to This:February’s installment of this long-running series is a “Best Of” night featuring a line-up of favorite stories and original songs. “The Best of Listen to This” will be presented on February 15, 2017 at 7:30 pm in 35below. The Autumn Players’ Readers Theatre Showcase Series Presents Bus Stop: An assortment of quintessentially mid-western characters from the 1950s become stranded in a diner, gradually letting down their guards to reveal their private dreams and secrets to one other. Directed by RoseLynn Katz. Performances are Friday, February 24 and Saturday, February 25, 2017 in 35below at Asheville Community Theatre and Sunday, February 26, 2017 at the Reuter Center on the campus of UNC Asheville. All performances begin at 2:30 pm.
