September 22, 2015

Anthony Miller Racing of Asheville, NC is holding the 1st Annual Anthony Miller Racing Fall Fan Appreciation day and softball tournament to raise funds for the Brain Injury Association of North Carolina (BAINC) on October 17, 2015 at Crossroads Assembly on Bear Creek Road in West Asheville.

The purpose of this event is to raise funds and awareness for the BIANC. The mission of the BIANC is to offer help, hope, and a voice for people with a brain injury and their families. There is an estimated 196,000 North Carolinians with a brain injury. Anthony says, “I want to help bring awareness to brain injuries and share how important it is to wear helmets (as I do when I race) and proper safety equipment to protect themselves from head injuries. This event will raise funds to help BIANC continue their work in helping families through support and education”.

This event is free to attend and open to everyone. “I am excited about meeting everyone in the community and sharing what I love to do with them. Kids love to sit in the race car and have their pictures taken and this will be a day full of that and much more”, said Anthony. There will be inflatables, games, crafts, face painting, business booths, concessions, cotton candy, Anthony’s race car, raffles, door prizes, silent auction, a retired Winston Cup race car now simulator, and a softball tournament. All proceeds go to the BIANC.

If you would like to get involved there are sponsorship opportunities available from monetary sponsors to product donation for the auction and raffles. If you would like to have a softball team registration is available and cost is $175 per team with great awards for the winner and MVP’s.

Join us on October 17, 2015 and meet Asheville’s next NASCAR driver Anthony Miller and help raise awareness to brain injury.
