Stream Bank Restoration-10-1pm (ages 16+) Clean up an old trash dump next to Smith Mill Creek. Then volunteers will plant trees along the creek to stabilize the banks to promote local ecological recovery. This will be an educational experience about stream restoration, tree planting and resource conservation.

Smith Mill Creek Cleanup-9 -11am and 1- 3pm (ages 13+) Clean out trash from Smith Mill Creek. This creek has trash from Emma Road and feeds directly into the French Broad River. Help save our river from senseless littering!
