Monday-Friday: 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
Saturday-Sunday: 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
The Visitor Center is open 7 days a week.
The Visitor Center is closed on New Year’s Day, Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, and half days on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.
Make the Asheville Visitor Center your first stop while visiting Asheville. Located inside the Asheville Chamber of Commerce building at 36 Montford Avenue, just one block from Interstate 240 and adjacent to downtown Asheville, the Visitor Center welcomes approximately 200,000 Asheville visitors coming to the area each year.
Get insider advice from staff at the information desk for your visit to Asheville. Pick up brochures for all the area’s attractions and restaurants, as well as a free Visitor Guide. Relocation information is available for those looking to make the transition to residents.
The Asheville Shop offers shopping authentic to the Western North Carolina region, including pottery, culinary delights, soap, postcards, jewelry, books, music and more. Tickets to many Asheville area attractions and tours are also sold at the Visitor Center.
Getting Here:
From I-240 Eastbound, exit at 4C Haywood/Montford, turn right at light on to Haywood Street. At next stop light, turn right on to Montford Ave. The Chamber building/ Asheville Visitor Center is located on the left.
From I-240 Westbound, exit at 4C Haywood/Montford. Turn right at light on to Montford Ave. The Chamber building/ Asheville Visitor Center is located on the left.
