Small Business of the Month serves as critical connector
Chances are, if you are in the Asheville area, you've probably had a few "driveway moments" with your radio dial tuned in to Blue Ridge Public Radio, our Small Business of the Month. (pictured BPR Dir. of Underwriting Steve Busey, BPR Boad Chair Ken Brame and Chamber Board Chair Himanshu Karvir)

At our 2nd annual WomanUP Celebration & Awards Ceremony on Nov. 28th, we will be honoring outstanding women professionals in our community. Please consider nominating a colleague or woman business leader in Asheville/Buncombe for one of three awards: the Woman Entrepreneur, Best in Business Award; Outstanding Woman in Non-Profit Leadership; and Woman Executive of the Year. Nominations are due Oct. 20th.
The WomanUP Celebration features guest speaker retired NASA engineer Christine Darden and keynote speaker local entrepreneur Troylyn Ball of Asheville Distilling Company.
