Yes, packets will be available in the Chamber Visitor Center on Thursday, June 3 from 11am - 2pm and also from 4pm - 6pm. Packets will include your bib, goody bag, and Chamber Challenge shirt.
The Chamber strongly encourages carpooling with team members. Parking is available at Isaac Dickson School on Hill Street. We also encourage people to use the city parking garages available downtown and walk to the Chamber building.
On Friday, June 4, registration will begin at 3:00 p.m. If you have already picked up your packets on June 3, then all you will need to do is pick up your chip. You should arrive absolutely no later than 4:00 p.m.
The goal of the 5k is to promote health in the workplace. The time allows employers to make a statement that they are committed to the health of their employees.
If your team is made up of three women and one man then you can register as a mixed team. If you have three men and one women you should register as a men's team.
Yes, but you must notify your other team members that you are picking up the packets for them.
The race takes place rain or shine. In the event of extreme weather conditions the race will be called off.
There will be two water stations available on the course and one at the finish line. We do recommend that participants bring water to drink prior to starting the course.
Plaques will be given to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams for Men's, Women's and Mixed categories. We will also give away medals to the top 5 women and the top 5 men participants. Also, the overall team with the lowest time (can be a Men's, Women's or Mixed team) will go home with the 2009 Chamber Challenge Cup.
